Boyle Software is looking for a Senior Business Development Director to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business leads and closing enterprise accounts in New York City and throughout the northeastern US. You should be located in the tri-state area, although this role will be remote for the time being. 

As a business development leader, you will also be responsible for the full sales cycle prior to delivery. You will be charged with establishing effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to understand their needs and deliver effective proposals.


 Work closely with Business Unit Head to meet the BU’s sales targets. Develop new clients and prospects via your own network, circle of influence, and business development approach:

  • Hit quarterly, semi-annual, and annual sales goals/quotas
  • Monitor expectations internally and externally and work with delivery team for execution
  • Drive RFI/RFP process to differentiate with competitors and close deals
  • Look for opportunities from client/prospect to demonstrate initiative and additional competence
  • Create awareness of new request/needs from client/prospects
  • Be accessible to client/prospect contacts, and increase the overall amount of client contact
  • Develop sponsorship within the client organization and help them to uncover needs
  • Increase knowledge of client’s industry, business, and organization and document this knowledge in Sales/Account Plan
  • Actively manage marketing investments for focused results to generate leads


  • 5+ years of strong delivery and technical experience as a consultant, solutions architect, presales, or client engagement partner focused on Digital Experience enterprise solutions
  • Experience in consulting agencies as BDM or new Sales Lead is a strong plus
  • Possess a deep understanding of the SDLC, various cloud solutions, and a demonstrable track record in selling in the IT business sector
  • In depth knowledge of sales principals and tactics with a proven track record of driving business development, client delivery, and people management skills
  • Motivated by an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset
  • Ability to accurately estimate consulting engagements, respond to RFPs, and write Statements of Work
  • Knowledge of any of the following is a PLUS: Big Data, Cloud Consulting, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, Vertica, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and/or other enterprise predictive analytics platforms is a big plus
